I'm definitely taking your suggestion on board – I just sent a tweet out on our 8tracks account to gauge interest, and I'm talking through the idea with the team. We'll have the integrated email functionality coming relatively soon, but the “private” status for a mix shouldn't be difficult either.

Also, as an aside, we'll be introducing a “next mix” option later this week. This will automatically cue up another similar mix after each one you listen to, thus providing continuous, uninterrupted play as you'd expect with Last and Pandora. Later, we'll allow DJs to actually select a mix to follow each of their own, such that they play “tastemaker” not just for the music in their mix but also for the mixes on the network.
