About Me
I am an entrepreneur and consultant with extensive experience in social media and web video. In 2009, I co-founded Qwidget, a software company that enables web publishers to foster deep audience conversations on their sites. In addition to running product development for Qwidget, I occasionally consult for a number of companies and non profit organizations. Prior to Qwidget, I served as the Manger of Product Development and Online Media at Chat the Planet/NextNext Entertainment where I directed the online release of Hometown Baghdad, a documentary web series. This project reached over three millions viewers, won three 2008 Webby Awards, and earned press coverage all over the world including cover stories in the Times of London and the LA Times and television features on NBC’s The Today Show, ABC’s Nightline and CNN’s The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer. Currently, I am studying for my MBA at Columbia Business School.
